the language benefit

globesLanguage study at PLU is a serious academic enterprise. While gaining proficiency in a language, students develop critical, aesthetic, and creative sensibilities necessary for global citizenship along with an appreciation for their own language and culture.

PLU's International Advantage

wangctrLanguage students are strongly encouraged to participate in the numerous study abroad courses offered through PLU's own Wang Center for International Programs. Students can develop language and cultural skills while travelling abroad or studying at universities overseas.
