Oven temp: 450 degrees
Servings: About 45 rounds of flatbread, 8-9" diameter
Recipe from: Christine Lee of Norway
Preheat a grill (a round electric lefse grill works best) to 450 degrees.
Stir all ingredients together; mixing thoroughly.
Roll out on a board covered with a pastry cloth. Roll (by the
spoonful) as thin as possible. Use plenty of flour to keep from
sticking.
Use a lefse stick to remove dough to the grill. Cook until brown spots appear. Turn over and repeat.
Remove to a cookie sheet on the bottom shelf of a slightly warm
oven. When all the flatbread is cooked, turn oven off and leave
the flatbread in the oven until completely cooled.
When cool, remove to a covered storage container (an air-tight lid is not recommended).
Makes about 45 rounds of flatbread, 8 to 9 inches in diameter.
