To create a new club/organization:
Why start a club?
·        Your group will be able to participate in the Fall Involvement Fair and Spring Club Week
·       
Your group will be able to can use university facilities and spaces
·       
Your group will be able to access a club email & website
·       
Your group will be able to advertise one University boards
·       
Your group will be able to sponsor speakers on campus
·       
Your group will be able to conduct fundraising activities
·       
Your group will be able to request funds from the Appropriations Board
·       
Your group will be able to receive regular communication and support from SIL and ASPLU Club Representatives

Steps to start a new club:
1. Fill out the Petition for Formal Recognition
2. Write a Constitution for your organization (Sample Constitution), and
3. Turn your Petition and Constitution to the
SIL office for approval.

NOTE: If your club/organization falls under Campus Ministry you'll need to fill out a Campus Ministry Council Supplement Form.



REMINDERS:
  1. Your club email passwords are available by filling out the Departmental/Organizational ePass Account Request & Renewal Form.  Once the form is filled out and signed by your club advisor, take it to CATS located in the basement of the library.  NOTE: PLEASE NOTIFY SIL WHEN YOUR EMAIL IS UP AND RUNNING!
  2. Check your club mailboxes! Here's a list of club mailbox locations.
  3. Register your club now for the 08-09 academic year!
