Welcome to the Legal Aspects web site. Throughout this site are various ideas and links about how a teacher can gain legal information on the various different disabilities and special needs of their students.

At this site you will find overviews of laws, in-depth looks at IEP's and 504, as well as laws pertaining to specific disabilities. You will also find helpful and convenient links to some of the world best sites pertaining to the legal aspects associated with special needs students. Creating an accurate and clear awareness of the legal boundaries associated with teaching special needs students is the main purpose of this page.

It is important to be prepared and up-to-date on the applicable laws when teaching students with disabilities, and this site is to help facilitate this.
