Majors

You will have to select at least one major area of study. But relax—you don't need to do this before you arrive on campus. Some majors do require an early declaration if you are to fit everything into four years, so if you have some ideas about a potential major or majors, tell your advisor before you register for classes. Your advisor can help you pick the right classes to keep your options open. Some students take a second, optional major.

Minors

Many students choose to complete one or more minor areas of study in addition to a major. But minors are not a requirement.

College of Arts & Sciences Language Requirement

In addition to the admission language requirement, students in the College of Arts and Sciences (all departments in the divisions of Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences) will have to meet this requirement. Your advisor will give you details.
