Many people deal with stress on a daily basis. When a person receives a stressor, a response occurs called the Fight or Flight Response. Fight or Flight tells us that the body is getting ready to either fight the stress head on, or to flee from the stress.

Stress comes in 2 forms. There is the acute form and the chronic form.
Acute is short term stress, sometimes caused by panic or anticipation.
Chronic stress is long term stress, chronic stress can be caused by a chronic disease or a death in the family.
