Heather Gillespie
Co-president

heather Heather Gillespie is a senior communication major with an emphasis in public relations and minors in legal studies and religion. She holds the position of this year’s co-President for the PLU Student Chapter of SPJ. She also holds leadership positions in the Student Alumni Association and the Appropriations Board. This year she is working hard as the co-chair and fundraising chair for the 2005 Region X Conference to be held May 6 and 7 in Seattle.

Laine Walters
Co-president

laineLaine Walters is a senior from Portland, Ore. She is majoring in Print Journalist and Global Studies with an emphasis in Comparative Ethnicities. She is spending her four years at The Mast, the student run newspaper at PLU, as Editor-in-Chief. She has also been news editor, features editor, reporter, and columnist. Her interest in journalism and world affairs has taken her to Norway, Cuba, the United Nations of Geneva in Switzerland, London, Ireland, etc.

Leslie Dycus
Public Relations

leslie Leslie Dycus is a senior from Kent, Wash. She is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Marketing. She is spending her second year at The Mast, the student run newspaper at PLU, as sports co-editor. She has also been news reporter and features reporter. She is also involved with Associated Students of PLU as Head of Formal Events where she plans Fall Homecoming and Spring Formal.

Ingrid Stegemoeller
Secretary

ingridIngrid Stegemoeller is a sophomore from Aberdeen, Wash. She is a Communication and Mathematics double major. Someday she would love to be an editor at TIME Magazine or National Geographic. She is currently a news reporter for The Mast. She enjoys running and eating an occasional pint of Godiva ice cream.

Jay Jahnsen
Treasurer

jayJay Jahnsen is a sophomore from Chehalis, Washington. He is currently pursuing a degree in musical arts with an emphasis on mathematics. Jay wrote for The Mast last year as a news reporter and hopes to write again. Outside of journalism, Jay performs with the University Symphony Orchestra, University Wind Ensemble, and football pep band. He is also the co-president of the pinochle club.
