Special registrations must be completed by the add/drop deadline according to the published term schedule as noted on the Summer Session Website. A $50 late registration fee is charged for each transaction submitted after the add/drop deadline.

To audit a course (no credit), obtain an instructor's signature on the Add/Drop/Withdraw Form, and submit the form in person to the Student Services Center by the add deadline for the course you wish to be enrolled. The cost of auditing a course is equal to the costs of taking the course for credit. For example, 4 credits audit at $525 for summer is a total of $2,100 in tuition due.
You may use Banner Web to register for up to 17 credit hours in Fall or Spring Semesters, but only up to 15 credit yours in Summer.
Summer: To register for more than 15 credit hours in Summer Session, complete the Summer Session Overload Request Form, available online or in the Student Services center. Submit the completed form by the add deadline for the term you are requesting. Requests will be evaluated by the Registrar.
Fall/Spring: To register for more than 17 credit hours in one semester requires at least a 3.00 grade point average or consent of the Registrar. Registering for more than 17 credit hours in Fall or Spring semesters costs an additional $838 per credit. Submit the Add/Drop/Withdraw Form to the student Services Center by the add deadline for the Semester you are registering. If the grade point average is below 3.00, a written request to the Registrar with the form must be done by the add deadline for the specific term to register.
To register for a course requiring approval, obtain the authorized signature on the Add/Drop/Withdraw Form. Submit the form in person to the Student Services Center by the add deadline for the specific registration term.
Credit by Exam forms are located in the display rack across from the Student Services Center in Hauge Administration Building. Return the completed form in person to the Student Services Center by the add deadline for the specific registration term. The cost for credit by exam are as follows:
1 credit: $200
2 credits: $400
3 credits: $600
4 credits: 4800
Independent Study Cards (pink) are located in the display rack across from the Student Services Center. Return signed and completed cards in person to the Student Services Center by the add deadline for the specific registration term.
