Objective:Participate in processes to influence the health care delivery system. Current and Future Participation In Nursing 260 I learned that the most important way for nurses to stay politically involved is to be informed. I am currently a voting nursing citizen and a member of NSNA. Through my research of genetically-modified foods for our controversial heath care issue in Nursing 260, I learned the importance of looking into all sides of an issue before being able to make an informed decision. I know that my future nursing courses, especially the Health Care Systems and Policy course, will add to my understanding of nursing policy and my political role as a nurse. Until then, I can continue to vote, be a member of NSNA and be aware and informed of issues affecting the health care delivery system. |
 NSNA I am a member of NSNA (National Student Nurses' Association). NSNA holds meetings and conventions to aid student nurses in professionalism, leadership, education and future careers while keeping members involved and updated on the health care delivery system. NSNA is a great way for me to stay politically involved with nursing policy. |
