How to Report

How to Report

PLU Campus Safety, Basement of Harstad Hall, 253-535-7441, Emergencies dial x7911

  • You can contact Campus Safety (CSIN) at any time with questions or concerns, regardless of whether you are reporting a crime or not.
  • A criminal act is wrong, regardless of the intention behind it.  CSIN encourages, but does not require, all students to file reports of incidents involving sexual assault, intimate partner violence and stalking.
  • CSIN can help students make a report to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department (PCSD).  Depending on the nature of the incident, CSIN may be required to contact PCSD as well.
  • If you choose to file a report with CSIN, CSIN will respect your privacy, however, some reports may be automatically forwarded to the Student Conduct Coordinator.
  • If you decide not to file a report with CSIN, you have the option to be provided with appropriate information for campus resources.

You are not alone

The PLU Victim Advocate is a trained professional who can help explain your options,  connect you to other resources, and assist you in making a formal report should you decide to do so.
