A program of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. Serve as a companion to kids that are working through grief. Listen to them, let them laugh, play, vent or cry. Be a listener not a fixer.

Hospice opportunities

There are several hospice opportunities for volunteers in the Tacoma area. As a hospice you can: provide respite care, client companionship, provide transportation, provide support to families after experiencing loss, clerical office assistance, building or installing wheelchair ramps, organizing medical bills, running errands, help with light housework and meal preparation, and gardening.
