My Definition of HealthHealth is: a positive physical, mental, and spiritual well-being according to the individual. Health should include preventative measures as well as education and screening for patients. |
My definition of Nursing: Nursing is caring for an individual for their physical, mental, and emotional/spiritual needs. A nurses is a patients advocate, care-taker and friend. A nurse should be available to their patient and should not only be physically their for them but mentally as well. Nursing includes the promotion
of health, prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled
and dying people. They care for all individuals of all ages. They do not judge and promote a safe environment for their patient. |

I am currently a sophomore at PLU and in my second semester of the school or nursing. Currently my goal is to become a nursing on the either Med-surg or Emergency department. I enjoy many outdoor activities especially the beach. My favorite activities are hanging out with friends and working out at the gym.
