Meet the Staff: Jonathan Grove, Men Against Violence Project Coordinator 253.538.6304
grovejk@plu.edu I'm
excited to be supporting PLU's Men Against Violence Project. This
project aims to raise men's awareness of issues around domestic
violence and sexual assault. The goal is not simply to make men aware,
but to empower them to speak out against actions and beliefs that
support these social issues. Men of all backgrounds need to end our
collective silence and stand up to be counted with the majority of men
who will not condone or support gendered violence, or the sexist
beliefs that sustain it.

hughesbr@plu.edu Our Women's Center is a little oasis, offering everything from comfy couches to tea to great reading material. It's a wonderful welcoming space and I love working here. I value the opportunity to work for an organization devoted to furthering women's empowerment and gender equity. I invite everyone to stop by and introduce yourself and enjoy your center!

students who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual assault
or stalking. I provide resource referrals, emotional support, and a
safe place to talk. You will see me involved in various educational and
