at the University of Colorado at Boulder
The Office of Victim Assistance has an opening for a part-time Gender
Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator position. This half-time
exempt professional position exists to provide prevention education related
to gender violence to CU-Boulder students, as well as to provide
professional development trainings and education on gender violence to staff
and faculty. Housed in the Office of Victim Assistance, and working closely
in conjunction and collaboration with the CU Rape and Gender Education
program (COURAGE), this position will help to: 1) create a safer, more
supportive environment for students on campus relative to gender violence by
providing prevention education, 2) develop and enhance programs for the
campus community to change attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors related to
gender violence, and 3) collaborate with other campus stakeholders in
creating and strengthening policies, protocols, and collaborative efforts
aimed at changing the campus climate related to gender violence.
