Nursing Definition
 My Definition of Nursing:
Nursing is the art of caring for a person, family, or community as a whole by promoting, assessing, and improving their physical, mental, social, and spiritual health through use of the nursing process, medical knowledge, technology and therapeutic use of self in collaboration with a health care team. Future Goals
- 1 Year Goals: In one year I will be in my Junior II semester of nursing school, I plan to be either still working at my current job as a Communications Officer at Campus Safety, or working as a CNA or Nurse Tech somewhere in Tacoma.
- 5 Year Goals: In 5 years I will have been out of school for 3 years. Depending on my general life situation after graduation I plan on either volunteering in the Peace Corps or VISTA, or possibly pursuing a residency program in peri-operative nursing. I would like to live and work in Portland, OR.
