If you think you would like to come to a Crossroads meeting, you should send an e-mail to the Crossroads Representative and ask for more information at xroads@plu.edu.
It is Crossroads policy to require prospective members to meet with the Crossroads representative(s) before they come to their first meeting. It would simply mean sitting down to a little chat in a comfortable and safe location.The reasons for this are:
- to learn about the rules and expectations of Crossroads;
- to ask questions of the representative, and know what to expect;
- to have a familiar face at the first meeting;
- to confirm that the prospective member's intentions are honest for finding out the meeting time and location;
- to makes the whole process a more personal and friendly than an e-mail or phone conversation.
If you are not yet comfortable with a personal meeting, please don't let that stop you from sending an e-mail to find out more about the group.
E-mail the Crossroads representative(s) any time at xroads@plu.edu. This e-mail account is completely secure, and 100% confidential. Your message will only ever be read by the Crossroads representative(s). If you would prefer to conduct conversations with the representative over the phone, send a quick e-mail requesting that, and the representative will gladly accommodate.
