You are probably wondering who is the Crossroads Representative and why you should trust this person.
The Crossroads representative is a student, who has been chosen to represent the group publicly. The representative works hand in hand with the staff/faulty facilitator to plan and run individual meetings as well as more long term events. The representative works under the strictest of confidentiality, and will never give out information learned in meetings, e-mails, or private communication concerning Crossroads.
The 2009-2010 Crossroads representatives are Myles Getman and Natalie Pomroy, while Abigail Blankner is the staff facilitator.
Responsibilities of the representative include:
- organizing meetings;
- speaking on behalf of the group at Harmony meetings;
- speaking on behalf of the group to faculty and administration;
- being the public face of the group;
- maintaining the Crossroads e-mail and website ;
- ensuring the confidentiality of the group;
- interviewing prospective and admitting new members to the group.
