What’s one thing every prospective PLU student should know?
Just ask! The Office of Admission and the entire PLU community are excited and honored when new students choose PLU to become their home away from home. Everyone here wants our students to succeed not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. We want you to be prepared for your future as a Lute and want to help you every step of the way. Also, visit campus. It is the best way to experience the engagement, academic rigor, and relationship the faculty, staff and current students have with each other and our community.

What do you like about living in the Northwest?
There is no place that is more beautiful on a crisp, bright fall day! It is a place rich in natural resources, scenery and great places to visit. There is always a farmers market to go to, a trail to hike, a concert to attend or a festival happening. You won’t be bored in Western Washington. I truly appreciate the Northwest on sunny days and on gray days, it is just a great place to call home year-round.

  • Most of my free-time is spent with my husband Pat, my two sons, Caden and Blake and our dog, Amber. I also enjoy searching Etsy and Pinterest for new craft project ideas, learning how to use my camera, exploring small towns in the Pacific Northwest, and practicing yoga.
