Assistant Director of Transfer Admission
Amanda moved to Washington from Minnesota, but found her “Midwest away from home” at PLU. “The campus is spacious and full of trees and friendly people.” She lives with her husband, new baby girl, and two rambunctious dogs in Bonney Lake, WA. They love exploring new places and collecting magnets from each place they visit together – they added 5 more to their collection last summer! Amanda’s favorite PLU thing to do is cheer on the pep band at Lute football games.
Transfer students are her favorite because every transfer student story and pathway is different, and making strategic academic plans is fun. Have questions about the transfer process? Amanda has worked with students in every stage of the transfer process and can guide you through each step, whether you’re planning for a transfer next term or next year!
