Responsibilities

Margaret serves as the front line of engagement, customer service, and support for Pacific Lutheran University’s external employer network. She oversees all job postings and provides technical assistance to constituents on the PLU Opportunities Board. Margaret also partners with employers, student clubs, alumni, and faculty to coordinate recruiting events such as career fairs, networking events, panels, career treks, information sessions, mock interviews, and more! She is motivated to create lasting partnerships and provide the best possible employment opportunities for students and alumni at PLU.

Biography

Margaret holds a B.S. in Agricultural Business from California State University, Chico. She has lived in Washington State for over 6 years and is passionate about serving her community and the uniquely wonderful students at Pacific Lutheran University. What she loves most about her job is supporting students in their pursuit of rewarding education experiences and fulfilling post-graduation paths by providing outstanding networking connections and opportunities. In her free time, she loves gardening, rock climbing, and hiking with her dog.
