Post PLU Alumni Day of Service

It was a blessing to connect with fellow Lutes whom I'd never met. Together we worked hard to help an amazing organization move it's mission forward, which was a great feeling. -Tamara '04

PLU Alumni Day of Service

Lutes near and far came together last April for The PLU Alumni Day of Service. Lute Pride was everywhere as Alumni, Prospective Students, and Friends of the University got together to showcase their care for people, communities, and the earth!

Check out all the amazing work that happened!

Here in Tacoma, Lutes teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to help build of a community house at the Golden Given community near PLU’s Campus.

In the Twin Cities, Lutes packed up nutritious meals for Feed My Starving Children.

In Anchorage, Lutes assembled  Warm-Welcome kits for Catholic Social Services, to help those in need integrate seamlessly to society.

But it didn't stop there!

Besides the organized group projects Lutes all over were working on other service initiatives such as:

Hearts and Hammers day on south Whidbey Island

Rebuilding Together project

Annual Neighborhood Clean Up

Local museum volunteering

Plastic reduction project at the International School of Bangkok

Rotary Park project

Elementary school volunteering

Craft Box assembly at Church (Pictured Below)
