Regularly Administered Assessment Surveys
The academic division seeks additional indirect information regarding student perception of their own learning success. As well, understanding how PLU compares to like-institutions is often helpful in analyzing our own results. To this end, we participate in two national assessment surveys in a consistent manner: the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Diverse Learning Environments Survey (DLE).
National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
This survey provides educators with an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college. PLU administers this survey every other year to first-year students and seniors.
