PLU Community Alert — Nearby Police Activity

At approximately 4:30pm Campus Safety was made aware of police response to Parkland Auto Licensing on Garfield street near Pacific avenue. The business reported an armed robbery had just occurred. Reports suggested the suspect committed the robbery before fleeing North away from campus where they were believed to have gotten into a vehicle and left the area. No indication was given that the suspect came toward campus but it is advised that community members avoid the immediate area due to increased police activity for the time being.
