Biography

Timothy O’Neill specializes in the cultural and intellectual history of East Asia, with a research focus on traditional China. His scholarly interests include historiography, gender and sexuality, hermeneutics, and language theory. He is currently working on his second book, concerned with the Han dynasty historian Sima Qian. Outside of work he enjoys video games, fiction, film, and cooking.
