Biography

As an Irish-American male raised in Southern California, Tom never thought about being a psychologist until, at age 20, a car fire resulting in severe burns over 90% of his body surface, and the ordeal of recovery, revealed the benefits of having a safe person and a safe place to share private information.  Tom is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Washington.  He brings an innovative, dynamic, and sort of humorous style of connecting with others in one-to-one counseling, small group workshops, or presentations to large audiences.  Tom strives to engage the notions of: from victims to survivors; self-care is not selfish; and our life experience is our wisdom and power.
