Life After Graduation
Continue to use Career Connections!
Whether you are perfecting your resume and cover letter, honing your interviewing skills, exploring different career paths, or you simply want to connect with fellow alumni, Career Connections is here to help. Career Connections services are open to all alumni, providing full access to resources that include:
Career Counseling
Our career counselors can help you identify your strengths and interests, assist in job and internship searches, provide networking and interviewing advice, and discuss other career-related topics that you are interested in.
Personality and Strengths Assessment Tools
Understanding your personality and strengths provides insight into careers that could be a good match with your interests and passions. Career Connections offers the Myers Briggs Personality Test, Strong Interest Inventory, and a Strengths Reflection Exercise.
Resume Reviews
A good resume can help your job and internship prospects; a poorly written one can derail your search. Your resume is typically an employer’s first impression of you. A career counselor can help you polish your resume to highlight your experience, skills, and accomplishments.
Mock Interviews
It takes work to perfect your interviewing skills. Mock interviews provide a way to practice before you sit down with a potential employer. Knowing how you represent yourself verbally and through body language prepares you for a real interview. We have career counselors who conduct mock interviews and provide valuable feedback.
The Career Connections Opportunity Board
This searchable database includes hundreds of jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, and Lute Link career advisors. The login information is the same as your ePass. Start searching here.
