Becoming a PLU Alumni

Get Involved!

Volunteers play an important role in the life of the university.  They are committee members, fundraisers, reunion planners, council representatives, prospective student recruiters and more.  They work to build and maintain PLU’s connections through personal friendships and direct links to the university. Some of our volunteer groups include Alumni Board, regional Alumni Chapter Councils, and Class Representatives. To learn more about how to get involved with the Alumni Association, click here.
Regional Alumni Chapters: We currently have active Alumni Chapters in the Twin Cities and Washington, DC.

Alumni Card

As a token of your years of hard work at PLU, we would like to offer you an Alumni Card upon your graduation. This card works much like your student card. If you have any LuteBucks left on your card they can be used indefinitely, provided you use it at least once a year after graduation. To obtain your official card, contact the Alumni and Constituent Relations Office or visit our website.

Alumni Card Benefits Include:
Athletic Event Discounts

Discounts at most on-campus PLU athletic events are available with the Alumni Card.

Athletic Facilities

You may use the locker room, racquetball courts, squash court, gym, and fitness center for one year from your graduation with the use of this card. After one year, the cost to alumni to join the PLU Athletic Club is one-half the regular price. Visit the Business Operations Office in AUC 207 to apply for your membership.

Garfield Book Company Discount

A 10% discount on most non-textbook or electronic items at the Garfield Book Company at PLU is available with an Alumni Card.

Obtain a library bar code with your card. Some fees for library services are applicable. Priority access is reserved for current students and faculty.
