Order Your Commencement Gear!

PLU follows the Academic Costume Code as outlined by the American Council on Education (ACE). All Graduation candidates at Commencement are to wear Regalia including: black caps with black tassels, black gowns.  Master and Doctoral candidates will also have black hoods lined with gold to represent PLU and trimmed with the color indicative of the degree the student is earning. Honorifics awarded by PLU (Wang Center pins, honors cords, etc.) may be worn. Per ACE’s guidelines, candidates may not decorate their caps, tassels, gowns or hoods; floral accents (corsages, boutonnieres, leis, etc) should be worn after the commencement ceremony.

Order your regalia.  After April 15th, you may purchase regalia at the Grad Fair on May 21 and 22.

Regalia MUST be picked up at the Grad Fair Cap/Gown Pick-up, located in the Regency Room of the Anderson University Center.  Pick-up dates are May 21st and 22nd from 4-7pm.

Diploma Frames may be purchased online from Herff Jones or online, in-store at the Lute Locker (located within the lower level of the Anderson University Center), or at the Tacoma Dome.
