Tech Talk 1/5/17 @ 4PM – “LinkProbe: Scaling Up Probabilistic Inference for Large Social Networks”

Posted by: / January 4, 2017

Thursday, January 5th, 4-5:00PM

Morken Center, Room 216

Join us as CS faculty candidate, Victor Chen, delivers his Tech Talk – “LinkProbe: Scaling Up Probabilistic Inference for Large Social Networks.”

Social network analysis has attracted more and more interest from researchers due to the rapidly increasing availability of massive social network data. In this talk, Dr. Chen will present LinkProbe, a scalable link inference framework that treats the link prediction problem as knowledge reasoning using Markov Logic Networks (MLNs).

Refreshments will be served.
