John Michael is a student at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where he is working towards his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.  He has a passion for mental health advocacy and destigmatization, and started a chapter of the nonprofit “To Write Love On Her Arms” at the University of Central Florida.  He believes that mental health is something that should be supported and talked about, and that no one should feel ashamed to ask for help.  John Michael integrates relational, psychodynamic, and existential counseling styles and focuses on creating new patterns of relation through collaborative work that empowers the client to work towards healing.
