Jason began his career in the culinary industry as a food writer and restaurant critic, and he began cooking professionally as a prep cook at PLU in 2012. In 2014, Jason was one of sixteen young cooks selected by the Ment’Or BKB Foundation to compete in the first Young Chef Competition series, where he competed in front of a panel of the nation’s most esteemed chefs.
Jason earned his MBA in 2015 and accepted an invitation to Beta Gamma Sigma, a national honor society for business students and professionals. Jason travels extensively, attending culinary workshops and hospitality conferences around the country.
