LGBTQ+ History Week

The Center for Gender Equity and Diversity Center will be hosting a week of events to celebrate students, staff, and faculty who identify as LGBTQ+. This history week provides space to be proud of queer identities, dive deep into understanding gender, and take part in fun social activities. All events and programs are open to all community member who want to join. The Queering Gender retreat will registration via the CGE website.

Pride and Popcorn

Queer Sweet Things

Oct 9th @ 6:30pm, dCenter

Join Maggie and Tolu in the dCenter to discuss the Joys of Queer Love, Steven Universe, and share some sweet treats.

Out and Proud

Oct 11th @ 11am – 3pm, AUC Upper Gray

Celebrating National Coming Out Day!

Gay BINGO

Oct 12 @ 7pm, The CAVE

Join us for Gay BINGO, a free event for Queer-identified students.

Queering Gender

Oct 13th @ 10am -4pm, Ordal Lounge

Hosted by the CGE, this retreat will explore the queering of gender, racialized gender norms, trans visibility, and the costs and benefits associated with being seen.  Contact Talcott Boradhead at broadhea@plu.edu for questions. The retreat is the only event that needs prior registration to participate. Registration is on the CGE website.
