Sista Circle Leadership Retreat: “Anger: Expressing & Caring for Ourselves”

Sista Circle Leadership Retreat

March 2, 2019, 10am-6pm at PLU’s Anderson University Center

On Saturday, March 2, 2019 on PLU’s campus, the Diversity Center and the Center for Gender Equity is hosting the first annual Sista Circle Leadership Retreat. This will be a space for women of color and genderfluid folks of color to focus on the intersections of gender and race within a leadership context. The theme of the retreat this year is “Anger: Expressing & Caring for Ourselves,” and we will be exploring what is means to be angry, why it’s important for us to show that emotion, and how to take care of ourselves, all within the context of mentorship, activism in leadership, and self-preservation and care. This year, the University of Puget Sound will also be joining us!

Lunch will be provided.
