Growing and Navigating Resilience through “Rejecting Rejection” – The Culture and the Work

Growing and navigating resilience through an act of liberation first coined by Dr. Samuel Betances as “rejecting rejection” is essential to the creation of our counter narratives and effective action on personal, professional, and organizational levels. This keynote will explore the need to address hidden abuse that resides in campus culture through misguided power, intimidation, bullying, and the guise of free speech.

Growing and Navigating Resilience through “Rejecting Rejection”-Our Personal Work

This interactive workshop will address how the ability to “reject rejection” on personal developmental levels impacts our ability to counter toxic climates, maladaptive workplace infrastructures, and resurgent identities we must navigate in our day to day lived experiences on our campuses.

Growing and Navigating Resilience through “Rejecting Rejection”-Our Professional and Organizational Work

This interactive workshop will address how to connect our personal growth and resilience development as a foundation for creating,  building, and implementing strategies that dismantle the consistent and powerful presence of resurgent identities, toxic climates, and maladaptive workplace infrastructures on our campuses.
