#BQTLutes was developed in response to our students need of a protected space for queer and trans* BIPOC. We offer this sacred space for our Black, Indigenous, People of color who identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum to express ourselves with unapologetic authenticity. By uplifting each other’s stories and experiences through discussion and activities, we both honor and challenge our perspectives so that we might better understand our intersectionalities.
BQTLutes lunches will begin meeting starting March 1st via zoom.
We will have biweekly meetings every Monday from 12pm-1:00pm but will have weekly content to self reflect on and later discuss.

Consider other queer opportunities:
Luis is the current Alger Scholar for the 2020-2021 academic school year. With the assistance of his supervisor Nicole Jordan, they were able to create and lead meaningful conversations revolving around a person and their identities this past fall semester. In this role, Luis uplifts marginalized voices and strives to educate others in letting their voices be loud and heard.
