The Health Center is located at 121st Street and Park Avenue, just across from the Mortvedt Library. In order to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of the staff, we are currently offering phone visits and provider-approved in-person visits. Please call ahead for an appointment.

Hours

For the 2022-23 academic year the Health Center is open from mid-August to the end of May, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Beginning Summer 2023, the PLU Health Center will be closed from June 1 through mid-August, reopening on August 14.

If you need medical services during the summer, please use Lute TeleHealth (information and enrollment instructions here if you haven’t already done so), the MultiCare Nurse Consulting Line at 253-792-6410, or seek one of the area urgent care clinics or the Good Sam Parkland Emergency Department in the event of an emergency.
If you believe you may need medication refills that we provide for you, please call well in advance of June 1 to schedule an appointment to develop a plan to get you through the summer.

Health Center hours for the 2023-2024 academic year have also changed. Please note that , starting the week of August 14. We will be open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 4pm, closed for lunch from 12-1 and will continue to offer same-day and future scheduled appointments; walk-in appointments will not be available. Because of these limited hours, and the 24/7/365 availability of Lute TeleHealth, every PLU student should be enrolled in this virtual care platform and consider it your first step in accessing medical evaluation. We know that many students will continue to look for in-person care in the Health Center and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, either in follow-up to a tele-health visit or for visits that require in-person exams or laboratory evaluation.

We are closed for one week between Christmas and New Year’s Day and on the Federal Holidays when the entire University is closed.
