Hello! I am Stephanie Dent and I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice student in the School of Nursing. I am working on my Doctoral Project here at PLU and I hope you will subscribe to my email series, Healthy Lutes. This year, Healthy Lutes is focusing on all things related to mental health and well-being. Each week I will publish an email on topics such as: Test anxiety, Seasonal Affective Disorder and sun lights, coping with homesickness, why too much caffeine can make you anxious, and much more. I hope you will find these interesting and helpful! Please feel free to contact me if you have questions, comments, or suggestions for future topics.
Each month Healthy Lutes will host a series of rotating activities on campus including yoga, mindfulness meditation, and nature bathing, just to name a few. Led by experts, activities are intended to decrease stress and to introduce students to activities which can support positive mental well-being. Participation is free. All you need to do is show up. We hope to see you there!
