Inventory management of all PLU owned computer equipment

Telecom interdepartmental charges using Call Accounting and the Telecom interface in Banner

PLU Online Directory maintenance

My first job in an educational institution was at the University of Texas at Austin as a secretary in the Psychology Department. After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM, I went to work full time for them in the Student Services Center as a tutor coordinator. I later moved to Tacoma and went to work right away as a Kelly Girl in the Tacoma Public Library downtown location. I was later hired as a receptionist here at PLU, which also included computer purchasing duties.  A new position was eventually created for me with the title of Microcomputer Support Supervisor. This included not only purchasing but also supervising the PC technicians. In 1993 I transferred to a job in the Telecom department, doing some very basic programming on the switch, working with the voice mail system, managing interdepartmental charges and managed the billing for telecommunications. The responsibility of inventory management for PLU owned computer equipment was handed to me, shifting me to my current position under the User Support area of Information and Technology Services.
