Did you know that chocolate is actually fermented? That cocoa powder contains some of the same ingredients as nail polish remover? Join PLU’s Lead Baker Erica Fickeisen and Dr. Justin Lytle, Professor and Chair of Chemistry for a special webinar about the science of making (and enjoying) chocolate. Bring a piece of plain chocolate to the presentation to participate in a taste-testing!

Class of 1970 Virtual Gathering

Lutes in the Class of 1970 are invited to a virtual celebratration marking 50 years since graduating from PLU! There will be a slideshow full of memories from 1966-1970. This is the perfect opportunity to remember all the good times in anticipation of a formal reunion on campus next fall. Join us!

Directed by Theatre and Dance chair Tom Smith and senior Morgan Roberts (’21), with musical direction by Zachary Kellogg and choreography by Dance professor Sarah Seder.
