The Inauguration of Allan Belton as PLU's 14th President
During four years of PLU leadership, Allan has developed a strong vision for PLU’s future. He is deeply committed to our mission to educate students for lives of thoughtful inquiry, service, leadership, and care – for other people for their communities and for the Earth. He is focused on providing the tools student need for success in a rapidly changing global economy.
Allan grew up as the youngest of eight kids in Zillah, WA, and was the first in his family to graduate from college. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration and M.B.A from Washington State University. Allan is married to Melinda Krotz Belton, PLU Class of 1991; they live in Gig Harbor with their three children.
Alumni, students, faculty, staff, families and friends are encouraged to participate in this special ceremony as PLU opens a remarkable new chapter in our history. Choir of the West and Wind Ensemble will perform.
