PLU has a dedicated “quit line” (free of charge) for students, faculty, and staff. Heidi Henson is available at 253-223-7538 to assist those who want to learn more about the tobacco cessation process.

Tobacco-Free Campus Since June 1, 2012
Committed to Health and Safety
Pacific Lutheran University has had a longstanding commitment to promote and support a healthy and safe campus environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. In keeping with that commitment, the university has been a tobacco-free campus since June 1, 2012.
The policy prohibits the use of all tobacco products including cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, chewing tobacco, cigars, pipes, snus, snuff, and any other smoking product. The policy will not require faculty, staff or students to quit using tobacco when they are off campus.
