“I work at the crossroads of technology, policy, and law. The most challenging and rewarding part of my job is building bridges: helping policymakers appreciate technical concepts and engineers understand legal constraints. This requires communicating clearly and efficiently.
“My studies in Philosophy taught me to tackle difficult texts, think critically, and write with precision. (I still work on these skills every day!)
“PLU was more than just academics, though. I also produced short films with friends, interned at the Washington State Legislature, and worked in the campus Digital Media Center. All of these experiences helped inform my career path.”
