I grew up in the Puget Sound area and have held an interest in media and technology since I was young. What started as a fascination with film and storytelling as a child, grew into a passion for media and art in high school and college.
After receiving an undergraduate degree at The Evergreen State College focused on audio production, I pursued a yearlong internship that focused on live audio reinforcement and media technology instruction, and gained experience in a traditional television studio environment. I have a heavy interest in integrating technologies which pushed me to participate in a collaborative effort to design and build an interactive art installation based on sound, visuals, storytelling, and the Arduino microcontroller.
I began work at Pacific Lutheran University at the start of 2022 assisting students and faculty with instructional and media technologies. My participation at PLU helps ensure the fluidity of distanced learning and ease of access to resources.
