PLU to host Special Olympics Spring Games

Pacific Lutheran University is working with the Special Olympics Washington to host the organization’s Track and Field and Soccer competitions June 1-3 for the second consecutive year.

The 2018 Spring Games will bring more than 2,000 athletes to campus, eclipsing the the roughly 800 athletes from last year. Volunteers are needed to fill about 400 shifts throughout the weekend, assisting athletes and taking part in some opportunities to manage, officiate and score certain events.
