What are the MSMR application deadlines?

PLU is accepting applications for MSMR admission.  September is the month of entry for the next class.  Applications are reviewed and admission decisions made on an ongoing basis.  To help you prepare for the start of the program and make yourself eligible for scholarships, we recommend you submit your application by April 1st.

No, however a quantitative skill set is necessary as noted on your MSMR application essay.

When can I start the MSMR program?

The MSMR program is a full-time, 10-month cohort which begins in September.  There is a part-time option.  See the MSMR Director, Mari Peterson at petersme@plu.edu for more details.

How do I apply?

Detailed information about the application process can be found on our how to apply page.

What do I need to score on the GMAT?

The GMAT exam is a standardized assessment, delivered in English, which helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management.  It is an important component of the application, but not the sole deciding factor.  The GMAT exam measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that you have developed in your education and work. It does NOT measure:

  • your knowledge of business,
  • your job skills,
  • specific content in your undergraduate or first university course work,
  • your abilities in any other specific subject area, or
  • subjective qualities—such as motivation, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
