Teaching full time since retiring from Army Nurse Corps after 23 years of active duty. I combine my original expertise in critical care and emergency medicine with my love of the outdoors as a lead instructor trainer for the National Ski Patrol System.

Teaching Areas:  Pharmacology, family practice

Scholarly Interests: Teaching and Learning techniques;  Ski Helmets

Current Practice: Urgent Care; Trauma stabilization at Crystal Mountain Resort.

Grants: HRSA; Prior NHLB NIH grant on woodsmoke exposure
