Dear Campus Colleagues,
The Presidential Search Committee met for an initial organizational meeting on November 1, 2017. The Search Committee was created by the Board of Regents at their October meeting. In addition to Regents, the official committee roster includes representation from various campus constituencies, the PLU Corporation, community and ELCA.
Moving forward, we will be working on behalf of the Board of Regents to facilitate the process of engaging the whole university in developing a presidential profile and in the process of vetting candidates for the Board to consider. We are currently in the process of selecting and hiring a search firm to facilitate our process. You will hear more about our timeline and process in December when we have the search firm on board.
