Arriving on Campus
All residence halls, including South Hall, open on Friday, September 3rd for Incoming Student check in. Continuing Student check in will begin on Saturday, September 4th.
In order to maintain appropriate flow during the move in process, students will be assigned a check in time when hall and roommate confirmations are communicated at the end of July. Additional mitigation measures (for example, whether proof of a negative test result is required at move in, or steps those helping you move in are required to take) will also be communicated at this time.

When you are ready to say goodbye, whether it is just for the summer or for graduation, there are still a few details to consider. Make your move out easy by following the simple steps for Traditional Hall checkout or South and Kreidler Hall checkout.
Students who are leaving the University mid-semester should contact Student Financial Services and schedule a check-out with your RA/CA within 24 hours of withdrawal in order to avoid improper check out penalties. Cancelling your Housing
The combined meal plan and housing application and contract is a binding agreement. Please refer to the appropriate Housing Guide for any cancellation penalty information.
Review PLU’s Residency Requirement. Students who submit a cancellation form, but are ineligible to live off campus, will not have their housing and meal plan canceled and will be contacted by Residential Life.
