Gender Inclusive Housing Application

Gender Inclusive Housing Application

Applicant Information

This application is for students seeking to live in one of the gender inclusive wings on campus. Gender inclusive housing allow students of any gender to live together on a wing with an all-gender bathroom designed for increased privacy.

Hall Preference

There are 3 gender inclusive housing options in our traditional residence halls. Please rank your preference with 1 being your first preference, 2 being your second preference, and 3 being your third preference.  If you are not interested in living in a particular hall you should leave it blank, but doing so will not increase your chances of being placed in another hall.

*Students seeking to reside in Hinderlie Hall must also complete an application for the Hinderlie Community for Creative Expression.

Roommate and Room Type Preference

Requested roommates must also complete a Gender Inclusive Housing Application.  Roommate requests must be mutual and assigned to the same residence hall before a request can be honored.

If you do not have a mutual roommate request the Office of Residential Life will use your most recent Roommate Questionnaire to select one for you.  If you have not recently done so, you should update your Roommate Questionnaire.

If you would like to request a single room on one of these wings, you must complete a Single Room Application.

Please rank your preferences with 1 being your first preference.  If you are not interested in a particular option you should leave it blank, but doing so will not increase your chances of being placed in the ranked option(s).
