Using Elevators

Follow signage posted at elevators. Current capacities for elevators are one individual per elevator in non-residential buildings and no more than two individuals per elevator in residential buildings. Please use the stairs whenever possible. If you are using the elevator, wear your mask and avoid touching the elevator buttons with your exposed hand/fingers, if possible (use your elbow, for example). Two passengers are permitted in non-residential building elevators if one individual is assisting an individual with accommodations or for safety-related reasons (i.e. assisting someone with a heavy or awkward load). Wash your hands or use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol as soon as possible upon departing the elevator.
